My Students

I have a group of 11 students with a variety of special needs.

My students typically are two years behind grade level. This means that most of my first graders are performing lower than kindergarten. Many of my students are working on letter recognition, letter sounds, and creating words. Providing different resources for my students levels the playing field and gives them what they need to succeed!

My Project

My students become very frustrated when their letters move off of the boards or table while they are working. When they become frustrated, they might shut down and not want to continue working on their goals. To prevent this we would love to have boards that the letters stick to. This will also allow the students to have a reference to how letters are formed without a teacher writing the letters each time. The students will be able to find the letter, identifying it, and then practice writing it!

Our screen protector will help the students keep the iPad in great condition longer!

We use our iPad every day for different applications that the students just love. Since they love it so much I would hate for the screen to get scratched because a scratched screen would mean that they would think it was broken and wouldn't want to use it.
