Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In numerous professional settings, the use of appropriate tools is crucial for success. For instance, surgeons require sterilized scalpels, pilots depend on advanced navigation systems, and software engineers utilize sophisticated coding equipment. Similarly, percussionists rely on a diverse range of implements to create music effectively. Each drumstick possesses unique characteristics such as weight, density, and intended use. Additionally, mallets serve different functions, accommodating both soft, legato playing and loud, articulate performances.
We are committed to providing our students with an expanded selection of implements to meet the diverse challenges they encounter in their musical pursuits.
This enhancement will empower them to explore and express their passion for music with greater versatility and creativity. Specifically, we are requesting a classroom set of drumsticks and new timpani mallets to complement our existing classroom resources. The financial strain of these purchases can be significant for our students and their families. Our objective is to alleviate this burden and enhance our students' passion for music. Your support in this initiative would greatly benefit our students and their passion for music.
