My Project
This project will transform our special education classroom at FPA in New Orleans into a dynamic, sensory-rich learning space. Our students, many with exceptionalities such as autism, ADHD, and visual impairments, will benefit from interlocking foam panels, wall adhesives, and interactive charts that speak letters and numbers aloud. These tools support communication, movement, and multisensory engagement, helping nonverbal and neurodivergent learners thrive. By creating a safe, tactile environment, we empower our students to learn through touch, sound, and play, building confidence, independence, focus, and joy in every moment of the school day.
