This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 25 students who are eager to learn, all of which have free or reduced lunch due to financial limitations. My students have become driven in the area of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). They all have a desire to embrace new challenges that are placed before them and I am to deliver.

My students, who sadly due to the recent COVID Pandemic are forced to learn from home and deserve the best opportunity for success during these difficult times.

My goals are to expose my students to all academic opportunities remotely to the best of my abilities. Technology has been an ongoing challenge within the classroom and now it is a challenge to get the needed information remotely to my students who deserve the best.

My Project

These STEM kits will be divided onto project bundle and sent home to students to keep at home. Students will receive instructions on what to build and utilized. They will use these kits over the course of several weeks. Students are able to ask questions about what they build during our scheduled STEM Zoom.

These hands-on projects are essential for students to decrease screen time and increase building and learning at home.

Students can unplug and apply the scientific method to build cars, circuits, and discover more about how things connect. Help our students experience STEM
