My Project
Last spring, we built large garden beds outside my classroom and filled them with flowers and vegetables. We added rain barrels and an arch.
This fall, we hope to create mosaic stepping stones between our garden beds to make the space more magical and help tamp down weeds.
We need concrete mix, mosaic tiles, and molds so that each student can design and create their own stepping stone. Together, the stones will create a beautiful path through our garden.
This project not only gives students a chance to work with a new art medium, but it also provides an opportunity for students to leave their mark on our school in a lasting way. The stones will remain in our garden for future students to enjoy.
