Help me give my students a great start to the year. As most f them live in low-income housing it is helpful for them to come to school and be successful with their supplies.

My Students
My students walk into a classroom that is warm and welcoming each day. As a group, we make an environment that lets all of us grow, make mistakes and learn. I love watching my students grow and become positive people in their community.
My class and I came up with a motto, " Our class runs on learning." We show this each day in our classroom.
Our class is diverse in so many ways. I would not change my students for the world.
I teach at an inner city school in the Worcester Public Schools District. Our entire school receives free breakfast and lunch. We have children who live in high poverty areas and who are also English language learners. Despite their hardships, they come to school every day to learn, with beautiful smiles on their faces.
My Project
In this project, I have picked the tools and supplies we use during the year to be successful learners. Many of my students come from low-come households and their families do not have the funds to provide them with all they need.
Students who receive these supplies will be stepping into the new year ready to learn.
This is one of the 3 Rś we practice at Lincoln Street School. Last year, I was blessed to have these consumable supplies donated and it made the year start worry free. Students will receive pencils, color pencils, scissors, folders, and many other supplies to be ready for the year! We thank you!
