Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
You may be wondering what makes my students so special. To begin with, they are the most generous and kind students you will ever meet. They are always eager to lend a hand and contribute to the greater good. They have a "never give up" mindset. Despite obstacles and setbacks, they just keep on trying until they achieve their goal!
My students are 18-22 years old, come from diverse backgrounds, and have autism and intellectual disabilities.
They are amazing, thoughtful, and determined. I am inspired by them every day, and they motivate me to do my best.
My Project
My students and I want and need to return to school as soon as it is safe to do so. While we want to return, we know things will be different, and that's ok!!! In order to return safely my classroom would benefit from hard to find products to keep our classroom as clean as possible.
The health and well being of my students is my number one priority.
I have developed a list of cleaning and sanitizing products to use in my classroom. This will enable us to continue with in person instruction when it is deemed safe.
