This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with a large culturally and linguistically diverse group of amazing learners, which includes K-3rd grade levels. Our classroom environment is warm, welcoming, and student-friendly. My students are an amazing group of individuals with various abilities. Our classroom is full of students who are ready to learn and persist.
This kinetic sand motion machine will be placed on our Zen Corner for our students to use when they need a break.
It has a variety of patterns that come to life as a sphere rolls silently through the sand. It creates mindful moments of relaxation. It will increase moments of calmness, inspire creativity, boost mood, and enhance focus. Best of all this resource will be used for years to come with my future students thus doing our part to save our environment.
