Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are 20 of the sweetest, most hardworking, and most curious pre-kindergarten children you will ever meet. They all have the most beautiful smiles and the biggest dreams.
We are a Title I school that prides itself on making sure that each and every one of our precious students knows they can be successful.
All of our children are eligible to participate in the free lunch and breakfast programs. My students are kind-hearted and are determined to do their very best every single day.
I am requesting multiple copies of books for my students. They will each get a copy of the books. First we will read them in class. We will discuss the parts of the book, and how to properly care for them. We will discuss each story and learn the vocabulary and about comprehension. The students will then get to take the books home and share them with their family. They will be the experts! Bridging the gap between home and school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
