My Project

This visual schedule and visual chart are powerful tools that can significantly support the students in my autism classroom by providing structure, reducing anxiety, and promoting independence. Many children on the autism spectrum thrive in environments where routines are predictable and clearly communicated.

With this visual schedule, my students will be able to use images and symbols to represent daily activities, helping them better understand what to expect throughout the day.

This not only decreases uncertainty and transitions-related stress but also supports language development and comprehension for nonverbal or limited-verbal learners. By visually organizing their day, my students are more likely to stay engaged, manage their time, and develop self-regulation skills. Overall, a visual schedule creates a more inclusive and supportive learning environment that empowers each child to succeed on their own terms.
