STEMulating Praying Mantis Project

My students need a praying mantis nursery kit, mantis eggs, crayons, and drawing paper in order to learn and draw the life cycle of the praying mantis.

My Students

My classroom is full of vibrant, energetic students from a variety of backgrounds. These students, many of them, have very little at home, but at school, they get interaction with peers, a good education, and loving teachers.

While my students are racially and ethnically diverse and many come from homes with low socioeconomic status, they have a lot of heart and are the best kids anyone could ask for.

They are more than deserving of your generous donation, and would surely express appreciation of your generosity.

My Project

A praying mantis nursery kit, praying mantis eggs, art paper, and crayons will help my students learn more about the life cycle of the endangered insect, the praying mantis. This will help them appreciate nature more and get some hands-on experience with a live creature. It is a rare treat for students to get to see the entire life cycle of any animal, including an insect, and this opportunity will open their eyes to the world around them.

This project will improve the lives of my students by fostering a love for nature and all of its wonders.

I hope that by seeing and drawing out the life cycle of the praying mantis, my students will learn valuable information about this awesome insect.
