My Students

Our students love building with toys, drawing, sensory objects, dancing, and reading! They aren't afraid to ask questions and are so curious and willing to learn. I also find them funny when they tell jokes that they've made up which most the time make no sense. The fact that they tried to create a joke to make someone laugh is cute. They love to learn and try new things and they are affectionate and are not afraid to say “I love you” just to make you happy. They are fearless and not afraid of the unknown or surprises; as a matter a fact, they love surprises!

My Project

Play is so important at a young age because kindergarteners can learn so much. Building blocks help them with their spatial awareness, geometry, and shapes; dramatic play helps them build their vocabulary and role-play. They learn to take turns, share, collaborate, and follow rules when they share manipulatives and toy centers.

Kindergarteners learn so much through play.

Learning through play enables children to make their own choices. It allows them to actively test out ideas and gives them great enjoyment. When children are engaged in play, they experience lower levels of exclusion and these play centers will definitely help with that.
