This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After a solid year of distance learning during the pandemic, the students of our district have struggled, and they are deeply involved as they rebuild their math and literacy skills.
A spectacular way to embed science into literacy instruction is through engaging, inspiring, STEM picture books.
These picture books, with a host of diverse, determined characters, will teach students resiliency, creativity, and problem-solving skills; essential to navigating a post-COVID world. Not only that, but they will show students what their future can look like and how they can create it.
