Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 25 students who are eager to learn, all of which have free or reduced lunch due to financial limitations. My students have become driven in the area of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). They all have a desire to embrace new challenges that are placed before them and I aim to deliver.

My students, who sadly due to the recent COVID pandemic are forced to learn from home, deserve the best opportunity for success during these difficult times.

My goals are to expose my students to all academic opportunities whether remotely or hybrid to the best of my abilities. I hope to build morale during this season of isolation. I hope to gather kits that will boost their Social and Emotional Learning via various STEM projects.

My Project

My students are learning about coding as well robotics. They do not have any books about coding that can help them develop a greater understanding. I hope to bring more understanding into the classroom to help them gain more knowledge in the Stem world. I am also asking for a wireless speaker so my students are able to hear more clearly.

With these materials, our students will be better prepared for the future and help bridge the gap.

My students are go getters. They want more in learning about how to program, code, create apps, design robots, and compete one day in a robotics tournament. The first steps are learning the coding and programming of our future.
