Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an enthusiastic group of students that come to school each day with a smile. They love to explore, investigate, and learn through hands-on methods. As an environmental science school we focus on the sciences and project based learning experiences. By adding two light tables to our classroom, the students will be able to explore light and how it moves, can be blocked, and how it casts shadows. I'd like to make t-shirts for my students with a logo they've created for our environmental science mission to take care of our Earth. The students will design a logo and slogan for the shirts. I will then have the logo and slogan they created screen printed on the shirts. The t-shirts will show awareness of our environmental mission to raise awareness of taking care of the planet via recycling, reusing, and reducing energy. I believe these resources will positively and greatly impact the education and motivation of my students! Thank you in advance for your support!
