My Students

I am privileged to teach 45 outstanding students. My students are very inquisitive, creative, and extremely clever. We are a Title I school where over two-thirds of the population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Even through adversity, these students are still resilient, excited, and enthused about learning.

Our school is very culturally diverse, extremely competitive, and we strive for excellence daily.

Willing, ready, and always trying to stand out above the rest, we need to produce competitive scholars for the future. We are shining stars and would love to shine with or above the rest.

My Project

Getting scholars excited about STEM and STEAM activities is what the drones will bring to our classroom. By having drones in our classroom scholars will definitely be discovering new creative and innovative learning styles both inside and outside the classroom.

Scholars will develop pertinent skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication, collaboration and coding to maneuver the drones.

The drones will be used to capture pictures from surrounding areas and apply to content taught in math, science and other subjects. The drones will hopefully become a beginning step to develop an interest in coding.
