Help me give my students an engaging education and materials that engage them in stimulating discussions, challenge their learning processes, and provide them the opportunity to take on leadership roles in the classroom.
Through gender, ethnicity, and specific learning needs, our students represent the diversity reflected in society, that is underrepresented in literature. Our students like to soar. They like challenges and set high expectations. They learn that special needs are an asset, not a deficiency. Through STEM education, all students can develop skills and confidence needed to enter the 21st Century workforce.
Student develop skills through STEM and inclusive practices that celebrate diversity.
They like to problem solving through hands-on opportunities. By continuing to build a STEM-rich classroom environment that promote diversity in high interest topics, students will see themselves as future leaders in the field.
My Project
These materials will be used for students to engage in STEM lessons they are excited about. Many students at our school play and are on baseball teams, so during physical science lessons, I would like to have them engage is activities centered around baseball. I also need materials for students to build, create, and break circuits, to learn how energy flows.
Central to a successful learning experience is the opportunity to discover more about oneself by working with others.
Scientists, problem solvers and environmental stewards do not work in isolation, and we begin teaching students how to collaborate in the classroom by providing challenging opportunities for them to work together.
