My Project

Third grade is a time for creativity and learning. Please help me bring magnets to the classroom. We are learning about space, planets, and forces. These STEM materials will help give concrete experiences to an otherwise abstract idea. We will be able to do some hands on activities with magnets and relate them to the earth rotation, magnetic pull, the moons affect on the tides, floating in space in a rocket, and much more. All the concepts that we learn about will be better explained after using these STEM materials. Hand to Mind Magnetic Force Kit and Electromagnet Science kit will keep their curious minds actively learning. I plan on using these supplies to build on our Space unit, and to get them thinking about new concepts, new ideas, and keep them wondering, "what if?"
