My Students

We are great readers, writers, mathematicians, and scientists! My goal is encourage each student to explore science, technology, engineering, and math to spark an interest that may lead to an amazing academic journey. My class consists of awesome 1st graders! Our school is a Title I campus where most of the students receive free lunch and participate in programs that assist with personal needs. Outside of the classroom environment, many of my students do not have the opportunity to access or participate in activities that encourage their interest in science, technology, engineering, or math.

My students are bright, curious, and interested in learning all they can about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

They seek out opportunities to participate in S.T.E.M. activities that allow them to be engaged in hands-on activities, that require team work and problem solving.

My Project

Your generous donation will help students learn about and explore the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. S.T.E.M. experiences will allow students to gain hand-on opportunities to engage in critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. Students will utilize the materials provided to solve problems that are similar to problems that students may be required to solve in real-world situations. By granting students the opportunity to gain these experiences, it will give them an advantage as they encounter higher level experiences in upper grade levels, as well as on standardized testing, and in the real world. With these donations, students will expand their knowledge and grow in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
