My Students

My preschoolers come into our classroom every day energized, motivated and eager to learn. I try to create a fun, loving and safe environment for my students to enjoy learning. I want to tap into their natural curiosity and give them enough opportunities to be actively involved in their own learning. A natural setting will create limitless options to investigate and go in depth, thus helping them strengthen their STEM skills and lay a strong foundation for their learning. The passive, rote-learning technique that most schools adopt should be replaced with an active, hands-on, interactive learning, including do-it-yourself (DIY) activities.

I want my students to be excited and want to come to school.

I want all my students to develop that growth mind set and to believe in themselves. Each student has their own wonderful personality.

I am very fortunate to be their teacher. I enjoy each one of my students. I hope to be the person to spark interest and have a love for STEM.

My Project

My preschoolers need various manipulatives to help them develop their problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, and to help foster their creativity. My students will use these materials to investigate, develop their abilities through building, creating, problem solving, and working side by side together.

Simply building structures with blocks can make them learn about engineering (STEM).

These might be simple hands-on activities but can it go a long way in helping my students learn the basic concepts of STEM better and faster. The key is to tap into their innate and natural curiosity about the entire environment. It is, therefore, extremely important to catch them young and instill in them the curiosity to ask questions frequently and to dig deeper into the heart of the matter.

This project will encourage my students to enjoy learning. These materials will improve our preschool learning environment by building critical thinkers, problem solvers, creators.
