My Project
The best way children learn, especially early elementary children is through play! While playing children are able to be creative, think critically, use their imagination, take risks, learn from mistakes, and so much more.
STEM materials will provide many engaging opportunities for children in my classroom to be creative and allow them to develop dexterity, problem solving, and use mathematical thinking, planning skills, and learning persistence.
They will also be learning about balance, symmetry, shapes, sizes, and colors.
Students will be able to engage with various materials and embark on their own personal journey of self discovery.
They are excited to learn and to take on challenging tasks. They enjoy working independently and with their peers. Legos provide hands on learning experiences for my students in all grade levels. They will engage in design challenges that will have them using concepts based in engineering, science, and technology. While working collaboratively creating their inventions, students will develop their critical thinking skills. LEGO provide and engaging format for students to approach different ways to solve problems while learning.
These requested magna tiles and LEGO will help my students to learn and explore oral language, social emotional learning, cultures, five senses, problem solving and critical thinking through these amazing STEM and sensory toys. These tiles will allow my students to build, construct and allow for creativity while still learning about geometric shapes, symmetry, angles and more!
