This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These resources will help them use their minds in a way that encourages creation and engineering. It allows them to think freely away from teacher direction and common learning. The kids will be allowed to use their ability to create and show that through the things they build. It will also build community because they will work together with a common goal in mind.
My students are curious, hands-on learners who light up when given a chance to build and experiment.
Our classroom lacks the resources to provide real-world STEM experiences, and this project will allow them to explore engineering and building through safe, engaging kits.
