This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration.
My Project
My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in Stem. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom like to use hands on things to create . We can do this with " KID K'NEX CLASSROOM COLLECTION",Gears! Gears! A “Sea” And Build Geometry Set. Our media center doesn't have a large collection of materials so I would like to have these Stem products that will hold the students interest and keep them excited to learn in my classroom.
These resources will allow students to become creative thinkers.
Hands on is a great way to get children thinking. Technology is great but we want our students to use their imagination. Using their imagination, students will be able to think outside the box. This will be a great skill for students to develop because this makes independent and lifelong learners.
