I enjoy incorporating STEM lessons/activities into my classroom. STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators. This project will provide my class with Brain Flakes STEM bins. Brain Flakes are a stepping-stone to help young children enter the world of engineering. This project will help prepare my students for future careers that don’t even exist yet!
I want to unlock a love of STEM in my students.
The Brain Flake bins will allow my students to design, build, and create. It will allow their imaginations to run wild with endless building opportunities. It will also provide them with a hands-on and collaborative approach to learning. I will use digital building instructions and task cards activities to challenge my students to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These materials will increase the children’s confidence in STEM through building and spatial learning.
