Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our seventh-grade STEM students are at an age to take on unique STEM projects, and due to the smaller class size, we are able to engage them in fun projects that integrate learning with something that many enjoy; theme parks. Our students are currently learning the aspects of theme park design and how these skills apply to STEM as well as other areas of learning.
By providing our students with these supplies, you will be helping them apply their learning in a way that many of us would have dreamed of in school.
The use of K'NEX will help my students get the foundational knowledge of ride design, as well as the physics behind them. They will help us design rides of a theme park completely designed for students, by students.
