Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our 4th and 5th graders are some of the most creative problem solvers I’ve ever met. We are hoping to use these magnetic tiles and IQ building sets to improve their ability to think critically, get creative, and have fun through play.
Research shows that STEM kits like these encourage cognitive development, spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills while simultaneously aiding in independent play and teamwork.
In addition they provide opportunities to develop problem-solving skills, increase language and vocabulary, and encourage creativity and imagination as students learn and apply a variety of STEM concepts.
