My Students
I am a 5th year teacher in an area with low income households and families. I would like to give my students the world, but unfortunately my budget cannot fit in all of the things they deserve.
All 25 students in my classroom are truly unique and one of a kind.
They are all so clever, intelligent, and hard working. Every day, they come in with positive attitudes and open minds for learning and growing not just academically but socially and emotionally as well.
These kids deserve the world and have the complete potential to be the next president or ground-breaking scientist.
My Project
We recently received Sphero Robots to use in our classroom. The Sphero will give students the opportunity to code, draw and be creative while problem solving and collaborating with peers. To use the Sphero Robots, we need the technology to control it. An iPad is the technology tool needed to complete the circle of learning possibilities with these neat robots. The learning that occurs with this robot is endless. From coding through mazes and race tracks, to measuring angles and designing and building simple machines to be used with the robot. All of this is possible, with the iPad technology to go along with the robot.
