My Students
Every child is unique and individually special! Their minds are incredible and their abilities are unlimited.
My students are inquisitive and curious!
They are very energetic and active learners. They have been born during this current time of fast-track technology! I have the pleasure of working with a lively group of students. They have a strong desire for knowledge. They are dreamers, thinkers, and future leaders. My students are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. It is my responsibility to ensure that my students have the same opportunities as any other student in our country. I believe my project will assist in that effort.
Technology plays a crucial role in our society.
I want to equip my students with the necessary skills to become successful students. I teach in a pre-K classroom in a large public community district school, where 100% of my students receive free lunch and qualify for the program by being low income eligible. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn.
My Project
My students enter my classroom with many different skills and levels. These busy bodies are actively learning, exploring, playing, sharing, and vastly inquisitive little people! My 18 students are currently working with three iPads. We need the additional iPad to complete a single small group set/work area. Technology in the classroom is a necessity and supports the students' learning of other cultures, language skills, reading skills, mathematics skills, science etc. We all know the importance of having a sufficient amount of resources to enable students hands-on learning. The charging port is needed to keep all devices charged and ready for usage daily!
