Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is a joyful place, filled with bright and enthusiastic learners. My students are motivated to achieve, and want to explore their world. They dearly wish to have engaging labs with an inquiry based science program, yet we do not have the resources to provide the materials we need.
My students are a livey, enthusiastic bunch.
They are enjoying the great hands-on activities that donors like you have given them, and they are learning more - and more quickly - than I can keep up with! My students are constantly striving for more challenge, and this project will give it to them!
My Project
I am requesting two Teaching Tanks, and materials, resources and supplies to use the tanks for student learning. Teaching Tanks are excellent teaching tools, because they can be used in my Earth Science, Life Science and Environmental Science classes. My students will use the Teaching Tanks to study everything from hot and cold fronts, to composting, to the root structure of legumes!
My students and I are very, very grateful for donors like you.
So much kindness and generosity has been shown to us! My students love the hands-on, inquiry-based learning that your donations have given them, and I love that my students are motivated, engaged and excited about science! Thank you so much!
