My students need updated STEM activities in our Science Area such as Fairy Tales Problem Solving STEM kits, STEM career books and a Magnetic Wooden Block Set.
I teach a multi-age class of 3-6 year olds in a public Montessori setting in the 3rd largest city in the nation. 50% of our student population have free or reduced lunch.
My students are inquisitive and curious of the world around them.
They are not afraid of challenge and thrive on problem solving to learn different concepts using concrete materials such as manipulatives. They want to be engaged in questioning and analyzing real world problems.

My Project
The materials I am requesting are evidently supportive of my students' involvement towards enriching conversation, discussions and negotiations between peers to collaborate on different science, technology, engineering and math concepts. These will aid my students to integrate their learning of the said subjects areas into a multi-faceted mastery of ideas.
This project will make a difference in improving my classroom because my students will be supported with enticing materials that spark their curiosity.
Also, the materials will allow them to persevere towards a common goal of finding solutions to the problems presented to them.
