Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is embracing the hands-on approach to learning and has encouraged the development of a STEM Center as well as a makerspace area in the library.

Having a MakerSpace in the library has allowed students to explore the library in a different way.

Our students look forward to engaging in hands-on activities. Keeping an area equipped with materials that allow students to create and explore has been amazing! With your help and generous donations, we have been able to build a well-rounded makerspace.

There is a table with puzzles, a table for art, and a bookshelf that continues to grow with various materials to explore lessons in science, engineering, and technology!
