This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are motivated learners who look forward to exciting learning experiences in their STEAM classroom. Some of them have special needs while some others are ESL students. Since they are from a Title one school in an urban area, they can benefit from good quality resources that make learning authentic and interesting.

My Project

Its never too early to learn about STEM. Our students from ages 3 to 11 I have STEAM as a subject to build on their creative and critical thinking skills. Since most of them have spent the last year or two at home with screens in an urban space, they are excited to touch, explore and absorb all that STEM has to offer.

The STEM supplies will help little hands transfer Science, Technology, Engineering and Math skills from abstract concepts to concrete ones.

Students will also be able to draw and write about their observations more excitedly.
