Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will be used by my students on a daily basis! Having supplies for students to explore with will foster creative thinking, help improve their problem-solving skills, and promote a growth mindset. Students will use these materials during morning work, center time, as an early finisher activity, or during Fun Fridays to promote engineering skills.

Giving students hands-on activities that they are interested in provides meaningful learning experiences while giving them a sense of agency in their learning.

Students will engage with the manipulatives using a set of task cards to guide their thinking. Students can collaborate with one another or choose to work independently. My students are a loving, curious, and energetic bunch, and these STEM bins are just what they need to practice skills we are learning in class in a new and engaging way!
