My Project

My students are creative, hardworking, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to our classroom every day. Many of them face academic and personal challenges, but they continue to show resilience, curiosity, and a genuine love for learning—especially when they see how science and math connect to the real world. What makes them special is their willingness to grow, ask questions, and push beyond their comfort zones to explore complex ideas.

This project will give my students access to TI-Nspire CX II CAS graphing calculators, a game-changing tool that brings STEM learning to life.

These advanced calculators will allow students to graph real-time data, solve equations step-by-step, and visualize scientific and mathematical concepts that are otherwise abstract and difficult to grasp. In Chemistry and Biology, they will use these devices to analyze pH levels, model reaction rates, and explore genetics and population trends. In Algebra and Pre-Calculus, they will investigate functions, plot curves, and develop stronger problem-solving strategies. These calculators will deepen their understanding, boost their confidence, and prepare them for future STEM courses and standardized exams.

My goal is to level the playing field for all learners by providing them with professional-grade tools that foster engagement, critical thinking, and real-world application. With your support, my students will not only master the content—they will gain the confidence and skills needed to become tomorrow’s scientists, engineers, and innovators.
