This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are some of my favorite little human beings! They come to school every single day with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

I strive to find ways to make my classroom feel like home and provide every student with what they need to be successful today and in the future.

I want to be able to make sure I am doing everything that I can on my end to help my students. Attending professional developments keeps me up to date on best practices and new tactics to use to improve my classroom.

My Project

I have the grand privilege of working with a diverse group of students in South Florida. My students face a variety of challenges inside and outside of the classroom, but they are the most determined and resilient little human beings. Every day when I walk into my classroom, I am overwhelmed by their eagerness to learn and my goal is to best equip them in any way that I can for success in the future.

This technology-based professional development will open doors for my students on a cross-curricular level.

I need my students to be critical thinkers and be able to reflect on their learning through collaboration, communication, and innovation. The knowledge obtained through this PD will help me integrate coding into core subjects such as math and English.
