My K-6 library/computer science students love to learn by using STEM materials. The use of Tinker Toys with STEM stories would allow my library students to solve story-based challenges. They could be used for design and innovation, paired with STEM fairy tales, exploring STEM concepts, and interactive STEM stations.
The use of Tinker Toys would give my students hands-on experiences that would allow them to use their imagination and what they know to create new things that solve problems.
The use of Tinker Toys combined with STEM stories would foster creativity, encourage collaboration, promote problem-solving opportunities, and allow inclusive learning opportunities for students of all ability levels. In addition, I hope that the use of the Tinker Toys would encourage a love of reading and STEM. I love seeing them having fun while learning!
