My Students

I have 21 fantastic fourth graders this year! Energetic, kind, hard-working, smart, creative....the list goes on! They love to learn and face challenges set in front of them. We are from small-town Kansas, a farming community. This is my 22nd year of teaching!

My goal is to make school a place where my students want to be and create the best learning environment I can for them.

I want to provide many hands-on learning experiences and learning opportunities that help them achieve at their highest potential. I want to challenge my students to think and do always do their best!

Our classroom is a fun place to be. I feel very lucky to be their teacher!

My Project

Providing students with the best learning environment I can is important to me. The storage shelves and rolling cart will give us a place to store all of our wonderful STEM supplies we have been adding to our classroom. Students will be able to easily access these hands-on Stem activities.

STEM activities encourage students' creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in the classroom and is a classroom favorite.

The podium and table will provide additional organization to our classroom. Students will use the podium when giving speeches and working on presentation skills. It will also provide additional flexible seating options to use throughout the day.
