This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning to work together is a skill that is important for first graders. STEM activities are a great way to help students work together and learn at the same time. Students will use these materials to learn about STEM in a fun way.

Students will problem solve, collaborate, experiment, and learn that success and failure are a part of learning.

With this project, I hope to help my students begin to develop a lifelong love of everything STEM.

Having STEM bins will help my students creatively and developmentally. These educational kits will help my students create, invent, and solve problems. This project includes Bristle Shape Building Blocks, Brain Flakes, Magnetic Building Sticks, and Straw Connectors. These STEM kits were thoughtfully chosen to encourage my students to explore engineering concepts. These kits will challenge them to think creatively, inventively, and imaginatively. My students will be able to build whatever they want with fun and durable building materials! I want to be able to give my students the skills they need to encompass a range of experiences. Each STEM component brings a valuable contribution to a well-rounded education. Science gives learners an in-depth understanding of the world around us.
