Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love teaching third grade. My students come from very diverse cultures and backgrounds. We have such a love for math and science, that it encompasses so much of our daily time together.

I want my students to experience the magic of math, the sensation of science, and the excitement of engineering.

The Brain Flakes will provide my creative engineers tools to practice their design and construction of buildings and towns. In a previous project we received STEM graphic novels and other STEM activities and materials. With so many activities to choose from, the colorful bins will ensure that all the activities are easy to access and manage independently.

Thank you for helping all my students see themselves as readers, mathematicians, scientists, and engineers who can change the world.
