This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fourth-grade students love to create through the use of hands-on materials, and I would love to give my students the opportunity to have STEM materials available in the classroom to use in a variety of ways.
This project will provide materials to help all my students to learn and succeed, no matter their academic ability.
One way these materials will be used is in the mornings upon arrival at school. Instead of a worksheet or journal entry, my students will be able to explore and build. My students will learn to use creativity, problem solve, develop communication skills, and use teamwork as they use these materials.
