This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to get my students several manipulatives and other supplies to create solutions to problems that require working together to solve problems. I am requesting several books that pose a problem. I am also requesting play dough, magna-tiles, marbles, sticks and ring blocks and LEGO. These manipulatives will be used to do things like build a house, make a maze, create shapes, and build structures. I want my students to learn that when there is a problem, they must work together and hear different ideas about how to view a problem, and then test different ideas as a group.
