Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of my students come from low-income families and are very appreciative and excited to work with different hands-on materials that they have not had the opportunity to do so prior. Kindergarteners are extremely smart and love to learn with hands-on materials. STEM is important to incorporate in the classroom.
My kinders will be excited to bring their robot to life!
We all have a big imagination and my students will be able to design their robot and hopefully bring it to life. They will present what they created and what they can do. The goal of this project is to incorporate more STEM opportunities and have students practice their English language development.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
