My Project
Kindergarten learners are amazing! They are hard-working, curious, imaginative, independent, and willing to learn. My learners are from a rural school with differing social stratus. All students can receive free breakfast and lunch.
I have chosen two STEM projects for my learners to create: Fast Flying Gliders and Wind-Powered Sailboats.
In order for my learners to complete these projects they will use the following skills: engineering, creativity, cause and effect, force and motion, and problem solving. These projects can be completed in small groups or by individuals. I have also included two step by step drawing kits to assist learners in following directions.
