This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We want to build leaders through STEM! A fully equipped STEM lab with hands-on materials will provide elementary students with exciting opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, and math in a practical and engaging way.
These materials encourage curiosity and creativity, allowing students to experiment, build, and solve problems through real-world challenges.
By working directly with STEM tools and resources, students develop critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills—key qualities of effective leaders.
Engaging in STEM projects also fosters perseverance, decision-making, and the ability to work as part of a team, helping students build confidence and leadership skills from an early age. Early exposure to STEM learning inspires a lifelong love of discovery and sets the foundation for future academic achievement, career opportunities, and empowered leadership in their communities.
