Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students hands-on math aids such as a deck of cards, Chinese checkers, probability manipulatives, Exploragons, numbered dice, and counters to help them represent and, therefore, enrich their learning experience by exploring through the use of math aid manipulatives. My students need more than a textbook, and they are full of energy. The use of manipulative geometric aid will help them visually see, create, and measure constructions thus, think abstractly. The materials from this project will enrich their imaginations, help them think outside the box, and release energy through learning. If we want students to master basic still such as fractions, place value, probability, and basic math operations, we must give them the opportunity to work with mathematics in all possible ways. I love collaborative thinking. What a great way to engage and build relationships within my classroom. Please support my students learning, and thank you in advance!
