My Project
Technology is becoming the key ingredient for students to learn efficiently during the new 21st century. I service students who have mulitiple disabilities and some learn better through technological devices that help them to gain comprehension when it comes to understanding mathematics. My goal is to provide my students with an iPad that will help build those important skills by implementing a coding activity that will help gain simple knowledge. Our students need gross motor skill practice, number sense routine practice, and understanding basic concepts of using STEM in the classroom.
My students are special because although they may have multiple abilities, I was let them know that they are ABLE to achieve everything that they can dream of.
Just because they have a disability they still have the ability to conquer their goals. With this device, students are able to practice daily to build those skills that are applicable to not only STEM but for social skills as well.
