Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is the second part to an earlier project. My students are very excited and engaged in STEM activities! They LOVE the magnet tile set they have now. It is so popular, that I have trouble finding time for them all to have a turn with them.
More blocks will not only give them additional possibilities in building, but it would also allow me to make two groups, so all students get to discover each time we use them.
Students today lack an ability to reason and use logic with common sense. STEM activities provide an opportunity for them to acquire these skills without being taught them explicitly. When students learn on their own, they are more engaged, inquisitive, verbal, thoughtful, invested, and proud of their work.
