My students need STEM activities such as the butterfly kit, trampoline, an STEM toys. They also need a reading nook for quiet time. The containers would hold their STEM center activities.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a small country school. We are seven miles out of town and away from other schools. Our students are mostly made up of the the farm, dairy, and crop owners' and workers' children. A big part of them come from other states or countries to work in the vibrant agricultural area.
While small schools do not receive as much funding as larger schools the students shouldn't be short changed.
My kids are hard working students who deserve a quality education!
My Project
My students would be able to jump on the trampoline while counting or sit on the bookshelf while reading. Both tools will benefit my students learning as they reach all learners. Some learners need to have a quiet space while others need to burn energy! The storage containers will hold the STEM centers that I have, and will help us stay organized! The STEM toys help the students use their imagination as they build structures and create different forms of transportation. Thank you for helping our diverse class of learners use their imagination while keeping some form of organization! We appreciate your support!
