This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are unique and creative. The last year and a half has been extremely hard on our students, especially when it comes to hands-on experiences during COVID-19. A lack of activities left students with inadequate approaches to problem solving.
The Academy of Inquiry and our students would enjoy more inquiry based hands-on projects.
STEM projects which are hands-on and organized in tubs would allow students to take responsibility for their own learning. Exploring different topics and themes using authentic and relevant experiences allows students to reflect on how to solve real-world problems.
