Stem Library, Encouraging Readers

Help me give my students flexible seating, some new books to add to the stem library and some small upgrades to our stem library section of the room.

My Project

The Futon and cushions will offer flexible seating for students who want to sit and complete classwork in the library area. Adding more books but graphic books to encourage more readers who prefer graphic novels.

My goal is to ensure a safe learning environment where students want to go to the library to read a book or sit and complete assignments and possibly grab a book if they are finished early.

Students will be able to sit on the futon in pairs to work on an assignment or read. Students can use the cushion to do the same or read/work in groups on the carpet in the library area.
